Better Health in Seconds!

Happy New Year! As we enter 2020, it's a great time to assess the quality of our lives.  Whether you set resolutions, goals, or intentions I'm guessing health and fitness are probably on most of our lists. However, we are in the middle of the month, and your willpower may be waning.  Let me encourage you that anything you do to get moving is beneficial.  I read an article, "Power Surge: The Hidden Benefits of Exercise," written in Fitness Magazine. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), more than 100 million U.S. adults were living with diabetes or prediabetes in 2017.  After one week of exercise, your risk of diabetes goes down.

You’re getting stronger, and you have more brainpower. According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, working out activates growth-stimulating proteins in the brain that may help form new cells.

Your workout is so much easier. Your heart rate is lower, and your cells are more efficient at breaking down fat and using it for fuel. You have cut your cancer risk, added years to your life, and you feel much better than you did a year ago. Get started today.
