“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 KJV
This Scripture gives three clear directives. First, you must operate in faith to please God. Second, you must believe that He is. Third, you must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I believe many of us are certain of number one and two, but number three? You MUST believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Let me ask a few questions? What happens when we resist temptation? A reward. What happens when we trust God and step out in faith? A reward. What happens we seek for wisdom in our lives? There are rewards.
Many begin their pursuit of God only to find themselves disenchanted, disheartened, and burnt out. Why? No reward. Very little fruit. We must believe there are rewards in following God.
We are rewarded in every area of life. When you excel at work, the reward is promotion. When you eat right and exercise, the reward is health and well-being. When you diligently care for and nurture your family, the reward is a peaceful loving family.
So trust and believe that on the other side of your faith and believing, that God is a REWARDER and there are rewards waiting just for you!
